Lost Post 4: Bad guys who change to good guys and back to bad guys and back again

Had to throw Natalie Portman in this blog yesterday to break up the space, it's already looking too much like I'm obsessed with the show. Theres one Lost portrait left. $5 to the person who guesses who it is. I'm positive that no one will get it...See you next tuesday for the answer..

That girl blowing up was prolly the best thing that Lost has done in a while. I couldn't tell you her name, I just had no idea why she was on the show. That was why.

Only a couple more weeks of Lost portraits. I was planning on posting other work in between to break things up (and so it wouldn't be so obvious that there all 3/4 portraits looking the same way ha), but i've been busy. I'll post something this Friday.

"Fantastic Mr. Fox" had an early release in New York theaters, so I jumped on it.

The dollying rooms and symmetry will never get old for me. And who doesn't love stop-motion corduroy suits! Definitely a movie to put you in the fall spirit...

here's my submission for the VO Calendar. This was a lot of fun, there was trial and error with the digital coloring process, because im still learning, but it's making my work feel more legit, so thats something to be pumped about..so pumped right now...

But, i still have to please my soul..so, im letting you kno that there is an oil painting version of this thats in the works and goin well..it will be the next pheest picture..

This works because i have these next two weeks to be focused solely on my portfolio class (which is needed), but it means the end of one of my favorite classes. I've been trying to make it as well known as possible that I study under Greg Crane. It seems like all the important painters have had a master that they studied under that they like to promote. Guess im doing that. I've been promoting his free class for a long time, and people still don't go to it (still have Byron and Charlie tho). Heres some of the smash hits..

This is an old series, but it was really important to me. Before these i was a picture making chump. I had only made a handful of images that i was proud of, and i had never made a multi-image series. I made my first handmade book for these pictures. Jordana graced me with her help on that one..
