Illustrated for the "Screen THIS Film Podcast".  Big fan of J.J. Abrams.  Wanted to get a full "landscape of portraits" in this one, similar to how captures the cinimatic emotion on his with close-ups of his actors.

For the past two NFL seasons I have illustrated one of the top Fantasy Football players each week.  This year I gave that up and decided to get all of my Illustrated-Football Mojo out in one gigantic illustration.  Featuring a offensive NFL star from each team, such as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodger, Calvin Johnson, and Victor Cruz.

NFL illustration preview

The NFL schedule was released last night (finally), so I decided to preview a large and very elaborate NFL fantasy football illustration that im putting together.  It is far from finished, which works out, cuz we are far from football season, but just thought i'd share.

Ryan Gosling cleaned up

I loved Drive when it came out & did an illustration for it.  I re-watched it and decided to update the illustration to better depict Ryan Gosling's face. 

"Django Unchained"

Fan of Quentin Tarantino for a long time but especially love the two latest "Inglorious Bastards" & "Django Unchained".

I was very dissapointed that Leonardo Dicaprio did not get nominated for Calvin Candie.  Loved his performance.

The blu ray comes out in 2 weeks. (so this post isn't completely irrelevant haha)

You can literally google "community tv show art" and see that this idea has been done 1000x already with various themes, but come on...Shirley as the penguin?...thats gold.

"Cast of one of my favorite shows "Community" dressed as Old School DC comics characters.  A lot of Batman the original tv show, with some of the Justice League characters sprinkled in there."

"Bran Stark Wakes"

"After mysteriously falling from a Winterfell castle window, Bran Stark wakes from his coma alongside his dire wolf Summer.  This coincides with the murder of another wolf in Summers pack, which leads us to believe that Bran may have a connection with them"

Again, the Game of Thrones premier needs to hurry up.  Had a lot of fun with this one.  Drawing hair is always the way to go.

Game of Thrones cannot come back any sooner. Was a stickler for staying away from the books and only watching the show, but got impatient and listened to all of the audiobooks while making this illustration. Season 3 will not disappoint.

My illustration of Bran Stark will be posted next.
